ICEBERGS
Over January 2008 I have been working on a 5.1 soundscape
based on field recordings from the arctic made by Lisa Anderson
during her voyage on the Russian icebreaker Kapitan Khlebnikov.
The source material consisted of Inuit throat singing or katajjaq,
sounds of ice crunching, breaking, melting, wind and the icebreaker.
The soundscape can be heard as part of Lisa Anderson's installation work
ICEBERGS or THE TRUTH ABOUT SNOW DOMES
opening tomorrow at the Gold Coast City Art Gallery.

Wayfarer is a live game space, where teams of audience improvise to direct their player through a hidden territory. The performersí body mounted computers send streamed video, audio and locative data to the Wayfarer software, which is projected back to the audience.
Part exploration, part competition, part surreal thriller, Wayfarer is a truly hybrid event, where live and mediated performance, urban choreography, ubiquitous computing, gameplay and site specificity come together in a volatile mix.
